Riding protection
Helmet fit, eye protection, gloves, jacket, trousers and boots should be checked together. Wet or cold weather may need layers that can be put on before conditions deteriorate.
A product name is less important than fit, condition and suitability for the route.

Motorcycle essentials
A basic inspection plan should cover tyres, brakes, lights, fluids, chain or drive system and luggage mounts. Carry the tools and spares relevant to the actual motorcycle.
Practice a repair at home before relying on a tool in a remote area.

Navigation and communication
Keep an offline route, a charged phone, a power source and a way to communicate your plan. Know where coverage is unreliable and tell a trusted person the intended route and stopping point.
Paper notes can help when a device or connection fails.

Water and food
Plan capacity for the longest likely stretch between reliable resupply points. Add margin for heat, delays and a change of route. Keep water and a small amount of food accessible while riding or walking.
Local supply can vary; check availability close to departure.

Shelter and sleep
Choose tent or shelter, sleeping bag or quilt, and mat for realistic weather rather than the best-case forecast. Test pitching and packing before leaving.
A dry bag or liner protects the sleep system when rain finds its way into luggage.

Camera and care
Carry only the camera kit that can be protected and used safely on the road. Spare power, storage and a simple backup routine matter more than an overloaded bag.
Pack out waste, use low-impact camp habits and leave space in the schedule to experience the place beyond the lens.

Questions, answered
Before you set out

Are these Farhan’s exact product models?
No. This is a useful category checklist. Exact owned or recommended models will only be listed when confirmed.
How should the list change for a high pass?
Prioritise weather protection, warmth, current route information and extra margin for a slower travel day.
What is the best first test?
Pack the motorcycle as for the real trip and take a shorter ride that includes pitching the shelter and using the sleep system.
